(Funny story on this one. #1 is almost NEVER given using the Random Number Generator. I was shocked when this one popped up as #1) (This also is the second time winner for my giveaway!)
Thank you all who participated in my Birthday Bash.
I still have a few more days of giveaways left and I am excited to announce the winners throughout the next week.
A week of giveaways left little time for real bloggy stuff. Not because I couldn't do it, I was just too tired to!
* We have been working on this house for over a month and a half. It is finally entering the home stretch. Everything has been painted, the electronics purchased and the carpeting will be in by next Friday. After that, we move in. Truly, honestly, become a blended family August 1st. I have so much to say on this issue, that it'll be said in a post this coming week. I think I might even do a week long discussion the week leading up to the big move. It's a doosey in my head.
* I met some really great people doing these giveaways! Oh, and actually won a few myself. Yes... I am still entering the ones I get in my e-mail, because that is about the most amount of time I can allot to it.
Anyhow... I am tired.... I have more to write but I have a chance to nap with the toddlers, and it seems silly to pass up that chance!
Much love... I'll write more later... when I let ya'll in on how I am the Bad Mommy of the day!
My son is a 14 year old smell-o-thon. Socks, football shirts, shorts, swim trunks, you name it he finds a way to make it smell like, boy.
My two teen daughters get makeup, art supplies, grease and any random assortment of things they might find on themselves with the exasperated words, “What is this? What did I bump into NOW?”
It is almost enough to have a mom give up on doing their laundry. Oh… wait…I did! I make all the teens do their laundry. However, I have to make sure that the detergent they use is strong enough to get out what I can’t see. All Mighty came along and saved me.
Between six kids, 96 loads of laundry in one bottle is a lifesaver. They can clean their clothes, get them shiny and new without me having to scrub, curse and try to figure out what is wrong with the teens.
Then you have the toddlers, food seems to find a way in
to their curly tresses, the creases of their clothes and in between their toes.
For them, I have to clean clothes AND their little bodies. I hated the idea of using shampoos and conditioners that are harmful to them. Why? Because when I put soap on their hands or on a washcloth, they eat it, because they eat everything. When I shampoo LaLa’s hair, Issa rubs her hands on her sisters hair “to help” and then eats it. Bathtime is strange in my house.
When I received the full set of “Kiss My Face” natural body cleansing products I was ecstatic. Open the bottle the first time and spray handsoap on your kid’s hands, the room is filled with the scent of oranges and this stuff works! The kids are squeaky clean, happy and you can feel good knowing you are not subjecting your little ones to artificial colors, fragrances, parabens and SLS.
Do you want a cleaner house, cleaner kids and a cleaner mind about the daily items you are using in your home?
Today’s giveaway is a double decker!
I am giving two coupons for free bottles of All Mighty detergent and a full set of “Kiss My Face” bathtime products. All of this for ONE winner. This is good for a ton of clean kids and clean clothing this summer!
Wanna enter? Here’s how….
Visit Kiss My Face and tell me one of the other scents you can get the Kiss My Face products in. Then come back here, leave me a comment and you will be entered! Easy-Smeasy…

When I was growing up in Texas I loved two things, reading and horses. I never grew out of those things, though most people would say it’s because I never grew up. Reading is a love that my teens never got the bug for, but I still have four kids under the age of ten that I get a second chance with.
I read to Jake every night that I see him, I read to my toddlers when I have them and try to sit down myself and read once a week. Lucky me, R.D Jentsch found me and offered me a chance to read her new book.
I found a kindred spirit in her and the lovely characters she creates in “Hot on the Range”. This is a story about friendship between, Chester, Willie and the horses’ “human”. Texas heat is hot, and that is portrayed in “Hot on the Range” as poor Chester searches for ways to stay cool. Bird bath, dirt, shade and finally a cooling “rain shower” seems to do the trick.
My toddlers love this book! They talked about the horses, and made tons of noises, and were very excited to get a new book to enjoy. The illustrations and writing are vivid and evoke the imagery that every little one can enjoy as well as the person reading to them.
How would you like to have a lovely book to read to YOUR little one? R.D. Jentsch has offered one of my readers a copy of her book “Hot on the Range”.

~Huge thanks to R.D. Jentsch for sponsoring this giveaway! Look for more on this author! I plan on keeping up with her.~
What age do girls learn that twirling in a skirt makes it flare out in the breeze? Is it the same age that little boys learn to make that shooting noise? It seems to happen, as if out of a collective subconscious.
It wasn’t until I put her in this beautiful tutu from Sugarbeez Tutus that I saw it for the first time. The matching bow, the skirt straightened, she was off and running into the kitchen, twirling and dancing with her little sister at her heels wanting to touch the tulle and pull out the hair bow.
I had waited anxiously for this box, when it arrived it was packaged carefully with directions on how to bring it to life. It needed very little help. The design is sturdy and able to withstand a little girl who thinks she might be a horse. I love how full this poodle skirt is, I know she will be able to wear it for a few more years!
A poodle skirt tutu? Does it make you think of cashmere sweaters, bobby socks and Mary Jane shoes? Me too… So for Halloween around here, Issa will be sporting the cutest 50’s style look around!
How would you like the little girl in your life to be dancing in one of these? Looking for a great picture outfit? MacKenzie from SugarBeez is giving away 33$ GC – Good for one Tutu and shipping.
Remember that 5% of all proceeds go to help fund research for celiac disease. Let's find a cure!!!

My life has been hectic over the past month or so. The children and I are moving into Dave’s in eighteen days. That meant Dave and Joey building two rooms, three rooms to be painted and remodeled for the six children moving in.
This doesn’t even include the master bedroom redesigning that is coming in August… Before and After photos will be coming on those. I have a professional designer that I will hear from in a few days on ideas. But that is a whole other blog post. Want a sneak peak?
Or.... I will get this one.
Okay... maybe both...
No matter what rooms I am doing, I am always thinking of ways to make them different, to make them original. When I started to do the toddlers room, I knew I wanted some words of love and adoration, something that they could look at as they grew up and feel adored. The Simple Stencil had the exact words I was looking for!
Since decorating has been put on hold until we can move in, I could not put these stencils up on the walls, however, I can show you the things I will be putting on them over the next few weeks.
The Simple Stencil sent me some beautiful words to put up in the girls room and even names of the girls and Dave’s last name in a beautiful print. I got to choose the color, the font and even the size when I logged into the website. I could even see the words how they would look on a wall in the color I had chosen. Pretty extensive right?
Here is what I chose:
Here is what I am going to choose to put above the closet:
When I get the room done I will put up pictures and let you know where I got all my pretty things!!
Want to put up something on your walls that tell the whole world how you feel? Are you a funny cook, is your child a baseball fan? How about wanting a great way to show off your house number?
Jennifer at The Simple Stencil would like to offer Crunchy Green Mom readers a chance to win $40 worth of product from her site! What would you like to “say”?
Wanna enter? Here’s how….
Visit The Simple Stencil and look at their hundreds of ideas and even more customization. Then come back here and leave a comment telling me what you would choose for $40.

(Yes.. that is LaLa with a death grip on the cupcake... poor cupcake!)
Little girls rock!
I know… I just got rocks thrown at me from Mom’s of little boys. Think about it though… dresses, pretty shoes, long hair and best of all… decorations of the long hair!
That being said… I love hair ties, bows and clips. Matching shoes and the dress of course! In fact, when I was dressing up my girls for Grady's birthday party this weekend… I had to get the dress that matched the hair clips I got from Tiny Star Couture.
These things are adorable, high end fabrics, cute designs and the flowers and puppy dog that were on the ones I got were so soft and sturdy. How do I know they are sturdy? Because LaLa kept trying to eat hers, She’s a monster.
I think all little girls should have original pieces, not something you can find at the corner store or off the grocery store shelves. Anything that causes a stranger to walk by and say, “Where did you get those?” or “How pretty is that?
Do you know of any little girls that would like these? How about a matching cape or knitted hat? TSC has other items that can fill out a little girl’s wardrobe with style and originality.
Tiny Star Couture is offering a set of clips (or two separate clips) for the lucky winner!

I am 36 years old and a fanatic about my skin. Moisturizer, toner, cleanser, you name it I try everything to keep age away another day. So new products are my favorite things to try and test out to see if they will be my new staple bathroom product.
I started using Skin Free products about a month ago and chose a sugar scrub and a facial lotion. I can not say enough about this product. I use the sugar scrub on my face, my elbows and anywhere I need extra softness. I also used the lotion on my face afterward. This stuff is great; it is all natural and has these oils in it that leave your skin baby soft.
Natural enough to eat… Yes... I had indeed got some in my mouth one night while I was in the shower and it was tasty. I know... kinda gross but at least I can admit it!
The next day Dave was holding my hand and commented on how soft they are. This is a product that works very well for all ages! Now, if I can just keep the teenagers away I’ll have more left over for me!
Skin Free has a long line of skin care, scrubs, lotions, liquid soap and shower bars! Everyone will have a choice even if you have sensitive skin like my daughter does; it has been wonderful on her face and does not irritate the skin on her hands like other lotions do.
Want to try some of these products? Something for your personal spa day… where you can lock yourself in the bathroom for 20 minutes? Skin Free was kind enough to offer a $30 gift certificate to the lucky winner
Wanna enter? Here’s how….
Visit Skin Free and tell me what you would spend your $30 on. Then come back here and leave a comment. That easy!

The Sofia Valeria Collection is just as lovely as it sounds! This Etsy boutique has beautiful clips and some of the best personalized murals I have had the chance to see. I love to have different options for my daughter’s hair, things that will match their colorful outfits and fit with the holidays, not to mention a way to get their hair out of their face. However, with as many bows and clips I have… I needed a place to put them all, right?
When I spoke with owner, Nadia, about the theme of the girl’s room she quickly stepped up to the task and made me some amazing murals to hang on their wall and duel as hair clip holders!
Totally cute… right?
This one is Issa’s (Her name is Jacqueline)
This one is LaLa’s (Her name is Suzanne)
The hairclips she has are beautiful in my daughter’s hair. I will have pictures of those tomorrow; living in two houses has placed things all over the town, so those will be a day late!
Today is July 10th, and a HUGE sale on The Sofia Valeria Collection…. She is having her 2-Clippie set, Single clippies and u-pick collections being sold at a $1, Today only!! Orders over $20 always get FREE U.S. shipping. Can you imagine how many clippies you could get for 20$?
She has also been generous enough to offer a bow set, these are blue and white and totally cute! (Will put these pictures up soon.) Wanna win these?

I love to drink water! It is one of the fastest ways to lose weight and a great way to get my kids to sit down and chill… a cold glass of water and a fan.
When I got the Nalgene bottle I was skeptical. See, my teens and my toddlers are hard on things, they get tossed around, broken and with water bottles, always spring a leak. Can I tell you how bad it is to toss a water bottle in your purse while you are pulling the kids out of the car only to get back in the house and have a flooded purse? I don’t think I’ve EVER found my BlackBerry faster. My son started freshman football for a week in June. It was a little warm so I made sure to test out the freezing power of the Nalgene bottle, filled it half way with water and tossed in the freezer at work. When I left I put some water in it and headed off to the football field. The kids all came running up for a drink, I tossed the Nalgene at him. Apparently the Nalgene is aerodynamic…. I however am a horrible throw. The bottle came down to the ground with a crash. Guess what?
It didn’t break.
Joey scooped it up, popped open the top and tossed it back to me when he was done. I was ecstatic. Finally, a bottle that can handle football practice, trips to the zoo and it fits in the cup holder in the minivan.
So, that being said… You know you want one.
* BPA Free * Holds 24 ounces * Allows for an easy one hand opening.
You can purchase one at Nalgene and at select retailers. They are only $11.99, get a few of these for hot summer days and freeze them at night to keep it cool.
Wanna enter? Here’s how…
Visit Nalgene website and tell me which product you would like to have. The winner will receive a Nalgene OTG, you will be able to choose between colors like Spring Green, Slate Blue, or go bold with Red.
They were kind enough to go “green” and will be sending the bottle straight from their offices instead of putting more waste in the environment by sending it to me first. I love these people!

We feed our kids great food, give them baths, sing silly songs and read to them.
Sometimes, good deeds bring very harsh reality.
That the same book, over… and over… and over can breed… insanity.
I can not tell you how many times I have said. “Go Dog Go” or “Emmy said: Let go get some dandelions”… I need something different, and so do my daughters.
Storytots was the answer. I pulled the book out of the packaging and was instantly in love. The book is sturdy and fun, with bright colors, beautifully illustrated pictures and a little girl that looked just like Issa.
And more importantly… it has her name in it.
I couldn’t wait for the next bath time and snuggle in the chair, hair was combed, jammies wrapped around clean bodies that smelled like oranges. We all cuddled up and opened the book with anticipation.
I loved how their eyes lit up when I said “Issa” the first time. They both looked at me and waited for me to say it again. Pretty soon they were pointing out monkeys and yelling out names of other people in the story. It was an interactive reading night instead of just fighting me to turn the page.
Issa now calls it her “Issa Monkey” book.
I can tell you that this holiday season I will be purchasing at least three of these books and one gift certificate.
Yes, I said it, gift certificate. This will be for my best friend’s son, he will be getting one of these delightful gifts and his parents will get to make it for him! What a cool present all the way around.
Another wonderful fact about these books, they are created by a talented MOMpreneur located here in Colorado! Just makes me all warm and fuzzy helping out another local mom.

How did it happen? I am not sure but blaming my parental units seems to be in order. Want to hear a story?
Two years ago I had my worst birthday, my guy at the time forgot my birthday and did not remember until days later, to which he said, "Well, we were fighting a lot, so I forgot. So, Happy Birthday"
After that, I made the decision that NO ONE gets to make me feel sad again on the day I was born. So... I vowed to make myself happy on my birthday and if people wanna catch up, they can, if not... it's not necessary.
So last year, I had the honor of spending my birthday in the hospital with Gretchen, Dan and their whole family waiting for the birth of little Grady. He waited... and waited... and finally showed up, at 12:30am.... the next day.
Yea... he and I had words on the matter.
But it was one of my best birthdays, I got to join in the birth of their first child, I got to run back and forth with my ear pressed to the door hoping for the cries of their son.
I made my birthday something *I* wanted... and it was worth it!
What do I wanna do this year? Hmmmmm.... How about giveaway gifts to my friends?
Yep... that is what I wanna do... and know what? I've got a 9 days of giveaways! This is my biggest bash yet, So tell your friends, tell your family... tell everyone... The festivities start at 12:34:56pm.
I am holding a week long party starting Wednesday, July 8th.
