My name is Suzanne and I write for this lovely little blog called Crunchy Green Mom.

How was my week? Let me tell ya:
I found lice in my 9 year olds hair. Yes, Lice, the little buggers that followed her home from Illinois where she was with her father.
I’ve been fighting these little critters all week, they got my 3 year old’s hair AND my 2 year old’s hair. My 3 year old had beautiful hair, now… it’s short. She’s still cute… just 7 inches shorter on those curly tresses.
I’ve done 3 loads of laundry a day for a week. I’ve washed; vacuumed, scrubbed, disinfected, shampooed… pretty much killed any type of disease we had in the home. It’s all dead, thank goodness we have no pets, it would be a sad week.

Wow, what a week!! I can't imagine having to do all this AND still do the 8,642 bazillion things a mom needs to do.

Hope you're house is now lice free! That's no fun. Not at that stage yet thank goodness - but they went around my elementary school when I was a kid. My brother got them twice and I managed to somehow magically avoid them. Then I did my science fair project on lice because I could put them under the microscope. Yeah - I was that kid.

You poor thing! Those lice sound TERRIBLE! :( You'd think with all the technology and everything out there, somebody'd come up with a way to permanently get rid of lice! Your children are beautiful! :)
