Quotable Sunday 1/10/2009

Happy Sunday!

Here is the second Sunday quotables, I hope ya'll enjoy them.. AND perhaps even join in this Sunday!

Here are the rules:
~ Post a new post on your blog with some of your favorite quotes.
~ Go to A Daily Dose of Toni and post your link in the mister linky.
~ Go check out all the other cool bloggers that are joining in Quotable Sunday, check back all day as people will post throughout the day.

This weeks topic is, optimism. I think we all need those positive thoughts about the world we live in, and about ourselves! Keep thinking up.. and it's the only way you can go!!

Many an optimist has become rich by buying out a pessimist. ~Robert G. Allen
*How many times have you seen/heard of a pessimist giving up on something because they talked themselves out of it? I am sure, just as many times as someone has succeeded. It's all about state of mind!*

An optimist is the human personification of spring. ~Susan J. Bissonette
*It is much nicer to be the person who usually has something nice to say, than the person who constantly downgrades their life, themselves and those around them.*

The reason we all like to think so well of others is that we are all afraid for ourselves. The basis of optimism is sheer terror. ~Oscar Wilde
*We are our worst enemies! It's horrible the terrible things we believe about ourselves, usually because our thoughts are tainted by the negative words of others. Continue to be positive and become a naysayer of the negative ninny's out there :) *

For myself I am an optimist - it does not seem to be much use being anything else. ~Sir Winston Churchill
* Well said Mr. Churchill! Lets get rid of those negative thoughts and stay positive. Try it for one day... What can it hurt?*

Thank you for reading Quotable Sunday! I hope ya'll visit the other participants as well!

Awesome quotes!! I love the theme of being optimistic!! I'm a firm believer that we create our own happiness with our thoughts but sometimes it's hard to remember to stay positive!! I love the quote that says that an optimist is like spring, that's a good one!!

I'm wprking on the optimisim thing...not about myself, but that of the world around me.

I asked about Lala because my little man is 3 and it's crazy to me, and a bit sad! I hate that there is crap standing in my way of having another baby right now!
Twelve kids..big dream!! My grandma was one of 12! I never imagined myself with any, let alone 3, so I guess we just keep going until it's feel like we're done. Awesome that you'd do it again in a heartbeat...yet another reason I think you rock! I have a friend with one, and she wants another but is scared and her hubby is terrified, too, so they haven't yet tried. I told her, you just have to do it, not overthink it!
