Bone Marrow Registry- We can make a difference!!

Join the Bone Marrow Registry for free during their Thanks Mom campaign. On average it can typically be $52 to join because of the cost of the tissue typing. It's simple to do - they send you a kit to swab the inside of your cheek and you send it back to them. It's free for the first 10,000 people who sign up online and 36,000 who sign up in person.
We can all make a difference in someone's life. Yes, this will take a little time, but how good would you feel knowing that you could do something!
I joined today and I will be getting my kit soon. I really hope that this will help someone!
Mothers, please join this, it's not often that we can help someone elses child in such a way, even if that child is 85!
Huge Thanks to Michelle, Mommy of Big Blueberry Eyes for posting this! She's a wonderful woman with an amazing spirit, and her family is lovely!

I've been thinking about a giveaway, this is the COOL kind!

I was doing my 11pm blog reading.

And over at Joanna's blog she is doing a very neat thing. Here is your chance to get it on some fun....

Would you like to recive a gift from me???
Three players will have a chance to get a surprise from me, on a surprise date, in the next 365 days.

Here are the rules:
1. Leave a comment on my blog that says you want to play. The first three folks to comment will get a gift from ME. (I'll send you an e-mail to get your address so I can send it out!)

2. Do the same thing on your blog! The first three commenters who commit to doing this on their blog, too, will get a surprise from YOU at a surprise time in the next 365 days!

Nothing in the rules says the special something you send has to be handmade, so don’t feel like you have to be particularly crafty to play along. (because I am not a crafty person, but I've made some incredibly crafty bloggy friends)

The best thing about this is you never know what or when your getting it. This is great. I love surprises...Especially good ones. : )

Things I learned on Monday about my children

I had a rough Monday. No, not at work, when I got home at 4:20..

What did I learn from it...

*A child's fight or flight, can cause them to do amazingly stupid things.

*If our parents were less than par, we are NOT to repeat their mistakes.

*Even the best child, can turn in a day.

*Our childs friends are not always the enemy.

*My daughter has beautiful hair.

*Pride can destroy a relationship so fast, Halt yours, children don't know how yet.

*My doves are noisy noisy creatures.

*When things go bad, a screaming baby can calm you so fast, because priorities shift.

*Nothing hurts worse than a childs betrayal.

*Sometimes, you can laugh through the tears.

*Be honest, your teenager can handle your fears.

Sunday

This has been a good day. I did alot of blogging caught up with people and read some new blogs site's I've never read.

The kids did their Sunday cleaning and I got some REALLY neat packages that I hadn't expected. I was so sick this weekend, I forgot about my Bloggy winnings!

I won some beautiful bows for Issa and LaLa from a wonderful blogger.
Mandy from Gourmet Mom.
Pink and white and PERFECT for the little ones!

I also got a box of randomness from Linsey at Lille Punkin' Reviews
It had everything in it from Embrace: The bra strap solution, Embrace: A Fresh Pair, Gotta Go Mitts, Fancy Nancy Glitter Puzzle, Oopsi, The Millionaire Kids Club Book, some amazing Celestial Seasonings Teas, a cute puppy bag, Pens and papers, some amazing dental floss, and some samples. It was a GREAT surprise!!

I also got two coupons for yogurts!

It was a nice day. The house is clean, the family is watching Family Guy and American Dad. I'm feeling pretty mellow.

I hope everyone had a great weekend! Tomorrow is another Monday!!

Warm Blessings,
Suzanne

This week

Ok.. so... My tip of the week.

DRINK WATER!

Thursday night I go to bed with a small stomach ache. No biggie.. I'll just sleep.
2am- it wakes me up.
2:30- in the bathroom doing BAD things.
3:00- Sleeping.
5:am- Back in the bathroom, and calling in to work.
8am- calling Carol to pick up the kids because I can't be more than 10 feet from the bathroom.
8:30- sleeping.. all day!

Yep..I dehydrated myself. Lack of sleep, stress, etc, caused me to stop taking care of myself.

What was I supposed to be doing this weekend?
Friday: Going to see the CRUSH play (Arena football game.. I'm heartbroken)
Saturday-Sunday: Camping with a ton of friends, drinking and watching my BF get engaged. Yep... Where am I? At home trying to rest up.

I've since re-evaluated my life.

First off, I need to blog. I need to let out some of my stresses and talk with people.

Second off, I need to sleep.. alot more than I do. 4 hours a night is no longer cutting it. I'm in my mid 30's, I have to be cognisent of that.

Third, I need to stop stressing over money. It will work out. It always does!

So... HI people.
I missed ya'll!!

I'm back!
