It has been pretty quiet around here huh?
I could say Google Chrome and I weren't friends... Can I blame Chrome for this?
I could say that my life's been quiet. I've been parenting, falling more in love with my guy or enjoying the outdoors.
I could say that photography and work issues were at the forefront of my mind.
All of that would be true.
However, I'll just say I am happy... full... so full I need to lose some weight from all the love, food, happiness.
I've been using my Google Reader almost everyday to keep up with my favorite people.
Now... back to my blog.
I'll be putting up some reviews, some photos of the family and becoming less quiet.
It's the warm season after all...
Time for noise..... Birds... Kids playing in the yard..... BBQs.....

Snowy Day toys
Colorado weather can switch from sunny and flip flops at the grocery store to freezing cold and snowing in a half an hour.
Now, I understand that many of you would think I'm crazy for wearing flip flops in 40 degree temps, you really must live here to appreciate it.
That being said, it is most confusing for a child ... One minute they are outside throwing dirt clods in the yard and the next they are being forced inside because it's bitter cold and snow is coming.
That was the case the other day, luckily I had gotten the perfect "snowy day" activity... sock puppets. Oh yea, my toddlers thought this was the coolest thing they'd ever done. They got to stick things on without making a mess and create their own little friend.

Then they ran around and pretend played for hours before it was time to eat dinner, and you guessed it, the puppets ate with them. I love educational toys like this, they really help my kids learn to play without all the bells and whistles. Many things like Melissa and Doug / Faber-Castell are perfect.
Grow Tree Toys - A lovely company that I work with under the Blog Sponsorship Program offered me this toy and would love to extend it's program to other bloggers. If you are interested please review the program overview.

Mom Blogs
I want to help promote a Mommy Blog site that is starting up here on August 1st.
The ladies are working diligently on getting it started and featuring weekly blogs and blog owners, and the boutiques that are popping up all around.
(Joanne, this would be AWESOME for you!)
It is called Mom Dot, and they are going to be doing giveaways the week of their opening, so please don't forget to visit and give them some support!
Thanks for visiting!

I figured it out (and ATB information)
It's gonna take me a while to get the ins and outs of this blogging thing, and adding pictures, etc. It will take time!
I just added a link to my page to ATB (Attached to Baby.) It is a site with wonderful, safe products for carrying baby.
If you haven't tried it, it's worth it! It's more comforting for Mommy AND baby to be so close to one another.
Please go look at it.
Warm Blessings
