Date Night at Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield Corn Maze

Colorado has a ton to offer for children, couples, singletons and as a group of friends, and when the nights get longer it's time for the cooler weather to roll in and give us some of our favorite things.

Full moons over the Rockies and Corn the size of Andre the Giant.

Okay... not something you think of when you see Colorado, but if you are looking for a romantic date night weaving and winding through the 8+ feet stalks of corn you want to take your sweetie to Denver Botanic Gardens at Chatfield.

The maze is 8 acres large, this years theme is Native Roots/Modern Form and has so many things for families and couples to do.

Details:

Every Friday, Saturday and Sunday from Sept. 9 through Oct. 30

Fridays 4 – 9 p.m.

Saturdays Noon – 9 p.m.

Sundays Noon – 6 p.m.

Admission

$10 Adults

$8 Member, Student, Seniors (65+)

$6 Child (ages 3-12)

$4 Child Member

Free for children 2 and under

Tips from a seasoned maze escapee: Download this map JUST in case you find yourself with a child yelling, "We are lost, we're gonna starve" (like my 4 year old whom I named "Eeyore" through this experience).

Get some food, take the kids on hayrides and enjoy an evening out with or without the kids, though my advice, just bring your sweetie.. there's something romantic about sitting on a hay bale and watching the moon float on by.

~Thanks to US Family Guide for the great evening~
