The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center - Destination Wedding

Colorado is one of the most beautiful places I’ve had the pleasure of living in, knowing that I’ll be getting married here is a blessing, I want a wedding that epitomizes Colorado with a view of everything it has to offer.

The city, the mountains and the weather make it a perfect place to say your vows, enjoy the plethora of activities and get spoiled by the scenery and opportunity to enjoy your big day without having to spend much on decorations, I mean, really… with the towering mountains what more do people want to look at, other than you of course.

I got to spend a night at the Inverness Hotel and Conference Center a few weekends back and had a tour, spa treatment and one of the best meals I’ve had in ages. What a beautiful experience it was. Dave and I met with Gina Block, the Director of Catering to see what the Inverness had to offer for weddings and family coming in to town.

First we toured the wedding sites they offer:

This one is a beautiful spot outdoors in the grass, Perfect for a smaller wedding.

This spot offered an inside eating area, a beautiful gazebo canopied by trees and a three tiered outdoor area for your guest to enjoy the Colorado air and mingle with a dance floor under the stars.

To Dave and me, this spot stole the show. Overlooking the golf course it has a tent canopy, entrance directly across from the Spotted Dog (pub) and a view that required little to no need for distracting decorations.

I had the pleasure of a trip to the spa for an extensive facial that afternoon. If you have not had a professional facial it’s worth every penny and hour of relaxation. My skin felt like it did in high school, smooth, wrinkle free and the eco friendly products they offer allowed me a choice that I haven’t found elsewhere. I’ve already asked for another treatment for my birthday!

We started our night in the Fireside Lounge having drinks in their relaxing sitting area with attentive bartenders that kept my martini glass full during our two hours of talking and reconnecting.

Dinner was at 7pm in the Baca Restaurant. Three courses, our amazing waitress Lorraine and a quiet, romantic table in the corner, ended our night on the right note. We spent three hours eating, talking and enjoying the night.

Whether you live here in Colorado or are looking for a destination wedding site, The Inverness Hotel is a spot that everyone should look at for their venue. They don’t believe in saying “No”, and when you meet with Gina, ask her about being a wedding coordinator for 12+ years, she has some amazing stories to share!

~Huge Thanks to The Inverness Hotel and Conference Center as well as Lupe from MindSpeak Public Relations~
