Tell me Thursday (05/28/09)

I was chosen to be one of the photographers for the Green Festival here in Denver. It was a fun opportunity and I met some amazing people. Next time… Better camera, business cards and hopefully a garden.

These pictures were of a VERY cool “green” house called “Growing Spaces.” I fell in love with the dome, the style and the concept that I could grow year round in Colorado. I looked through their pictures and saw how fast things grew in this space. It has thought of everything, windows that open and close on their own depending on heat inside the dome, food protected from rodents and wandering hands and stunning vegetables grown by ME!

Now… I do not have one of these… it looks like next summer my guy and I will have a garden ready and growing in the back yard… but one day, I’d love my own personal “Growing Spaces” dome…with a hanging swing and a cup of tea!

That sounds like you had a great time at the festival. I would love to have a growing space too. It would be fun to be able to grow all year long.

Dang! so I missed the Green festival then. That dome looks great especially for CO. Can't grow anything here to any size.
