Puristics Review

I had a dinner with a group of Mile High Mama’s the other day. We had our usual conversation that dealt with kids, adoption, green living and funny stories with husbands and friends.

My friend Lori asked me a question I’d never given much thought to, but was legitimate for most of us Mom’s. “How do you know that the items you use in your home are truly natural? Do the companies do their own research or should we be proactive in doing our own.”

BE PROACTIVE!

Most companies are concerned about the bottom line, if they can put a label on their product that states “Natural” or “Green” and people with buy it, you better believe they’ll put it on there. There are no strict regulations for products right now so you can not trust it without further research. In 2007 “The Green Guide” put out a list of dirty dozen chemicals for consumers to look out for when purchasing skin products. If you need help knowing what to look out for, I’d suggest you print out this list for the next time you go to the store.

When Puristics came to me and offered a natural purely ageless daily and nighttime cream I was skeptical. I did my research, studied up on their ingredients, used the product and after getting the full knowledge of the lotions I can tell you that it’s a company worth buying from and trusting!

The lotion has no artificial fragrances, colors, dyes or synthetics. Parabens and phthalates are also excluded from all their products. I can still feel them on my skin after being up for 7 hours and it’s not a greasy film. It is like having a layer of protection under your make up, with sunscreen and penetrating moisturizer.

If you are looking for a way to get healthier looking skin, don’t just take my word for it, Visit the ingredients on their site and then visit BeautyflyRX and see what each ingredient does.

Knowledge is power, and then if you like what you see, get some for yourself… I’d love to hear opinions and thoughts about this from you!

Thank you SO much for addressing this.

It just goes to show that there may be no short cuts when it comes to green. Trust, but verify the companies that manufacture green products as well as those that sell them.

That's a great link for the dirty dozen. And Puristics sounds good to me.

I so enjoyed hanging out with you!
