Colorado is on fire, almost literally. Homes are burning,
precious memories are turning into ash and the thought of risking fireworks
next week is foolish.
We usually go to the Parker, Co. Fireworks show. We have a
great bluff we back the truck up to and watch the amazing show curled up in the
bed of the truck with one another. It’s magical and for the past two years, we
haven’t been able to do it because the risk is too high.
So what do we do?
We celebrate as any true American would. We BBQ, make cheesy
desserts that are red white and blue all the while being with one another and
enjoying the chance we have to live in this beautiful country. I’ve only been
to two other countries so far, however I can say, I’m a “red-white-blue runs
through my veins” kinda girl.
