Like to play games? Giveaway!!

I love to play games with my kids. Even in their teens my kids will lie down on the living room rug and make of each other and me while we waste away a night playing silly games.

New games are the best, when no one knows the rules yet and the 5 of us can learn them together it’s a lot of fun to play without having someone “one up you”.

I got two new games in the mail the other day and fell in love with the interaction and laughter that they caused.

My 18 year old pulled a game called Twisted Fish down from it’s “hiding” space (I have to hide games or my toddlers will relentlessly try and play them, even to the point of distraction from eating dinner, etc.).

So, Kara pulled the game down and plopped herself between Joey (15 years old) and his friend PJ (12 years old). Within minutes of them starting play, there was name calling, laughing and squeals of, “NO WAY.. I just asked for that card!.”

Twisted Fish is like playing Go Fish with a twist. There are extra cards in there that allow you to look at another player’s cards, or take one of their cards and keep it. It is a lot of fun to try and outsmart your friends while still playing a game you learned in elementary school.

If you are looking for two games that are built for learning, laughter and a fun way to spend time with your family without a mindless evening… this is t

he way to go! The creator had a wonderful time coming up with a way to integrate learning and fun together.

The great people at McNeil Designs would like to offer Crunchy Green Mom readers a chance to win a FULL set of games. Cool right?

The game I ALWAYS wanted to get as a child was Mousetrap but my parents never, ever bought it for me. I still harbor emotional issues as a direct result.
