FOR TODAY... from Suzanne's Daybook

Outside my window...
it is sunny and melting the streets and the snow quickly, however looks can be deceiving. It is so chilly!

I am thinking...
that this day needs to go by faster. I am losing all momentum to work.

I am thankful for...
the health of my children.

I am wearing...
white sweats, a green sweatshirt and tennis shoes.

I am remembering...
a conversation I had with Kara this morning. Despite other people's
thoughts, I think I have a great kid. She amazes me.

I am going...
to Manitou Springs with Gretchen this weekend. I am soooo excited to see her!

I am reading...
some magazines off and on, the holiday season has dominated my mind.

I am hoping...
that I hear from a magazine about something I have been waiting for. I am so excited and nervous about this opportunity. It was my Ah-Ha moment...

On my mind...
work is threatening to boil over, I'm holding on by a thread and counting down my last hour.


Noticing that...
Dave and I still have a few more steps to go on learning how to communicate.
Sometimes we miss the mark and have to back petal until we realize where the miscommunication was.

will be a simple dinner of blackened chicken, potatoes and salad.
