You can make it - 50$ giveaway

I love original designs and colors when it comes to clothing. I do not want my children in clothing that have cartoon characters on them or things that every other little girl will be in. Not saying they aren't, I would just prefer something a bit more original.

That being said.... I can't sew.

Nope.. in fact, I can sew in a button, I can cross-stitch, I can make a costume that will only last one night... but I can't figure out how to use my sewing machine.

Then came along Courtney at Youcanmakethis.com, she showed me her site, and then showed me the videos they have and I could feel the confidence seeping in! I watched videos, read instructions and then fell in love with this concept. I plan on making a tie for little Grady (Gretchen's son), aprons for me and tons of Yule gifts.

How would you like to make handmade gifts? Birthday gifts for kids and for your kids friends would be a breeze!

If you'd like to try out some products for free, you can sign up for their FREE newsletter. After you sign up make sure you confirm your subscription and then click on that link, and you'll receive all of some product instructions.

Would you like to win a $50 bundle of even more DIY instructions?

((The giveaway bundle would include instructions for making a Child/Adult Apron Set, Women's Reversible Wrap Skirt, The "She Loves Me, She Loves Me KNOT" Handbag, The Reversible Patchwork Bucket Hat, Easy-Fit Pants, and Boy's Ties. Between all of those, items can be made for both boys, girls, and women.))

Go to YouCanMakeThis.com and come back here and let me know something you'd like to learn how to make. There are tons of items to chose from! (This contest is open to all readers living in the Continental United States. )

Contest will end February 21, 2009 at 7pm. I will post/e-mail the winner on February 22, 2009.
