Harry Potter

Yes, I have stood in line until midnight with my daughter and son, just to get a Harry Potter book.

Yes, I held onto the last book not wanting to finish the saga that I love so dearly.

I cry every time that I go and sit in the theater and watch a new Harry Potter movie.

I have read Harry Potter to my kids at night, with different voices and helped them fall in love with the story.

I have sat at work and cried my eyes out when one of my favorite character died and still cry when I relay the story to non-Harry Potter lovers.

Harry Potter is now 10 years old. Not the man (isn't he adorable now?), but the book series.

Coming to stores on September 23rd. This beautiful collectible edition has been produced in celebration of the 10th anniversary of HARRY POTTER AND THE SORCERER’S STONE. It features the following:

  • New Jacket artwork by Mary GrandPre
  • Additional four-color frontispiece artwork from Mary GrandPre
  • Two pages of special content from J.K. Rowling
  • Full cloth case with gold stamping
If you head on over to Scholastic, you will get your Harry Potter fill with information about JK Rowling’s NEW book, Wizard Challenges and Games.

My favorite group of ladies at Mom Dot are doing a wonderful giveaway for this collectible edition. Go over, join and let them know I sent you! It's a great holiday gift, or even a gift for yourself. Get lost in the magic!

Wow!1 Of course I had to join this (crossing fingers they accept international wannabes!). I'm in the middle of HP's third book reading for Lucas before sleeping, he simply adores it as you well know... It would be super to get this. Obviously I'll link it back to you.

Kisses!

PS: Am I crazy or did you delete the entry about that blogger mom's accident? I've been following up her son's recovery by Twitter.

FANTASTIC!!! My son has been begging for years to read Harry Potter HIMSELF, and I kept saying, "In the 4th grade honey." Well, he's in the 4th grade and we've agreed he can read the first on during Christmas break. I can't wait for him to delve into that book and enthusiastically tell me all the moments that SHOULD have been in the movie! I NEEED this set!
