Valentines Giveaway!!

I LOVE Valentines Day.

I love dressing up, putting on something pretty and getting ready for a night out.
I like to smell pretty, try out new makeup styles and that flutter you get when you want to show yourself off to the person you love.

So how do you prepare?

*Warm bubble bath with rose scented oils?
*Going to the hair salon for a new 'do and your nails.
*Getting out of your comfy's and actually putting on jeans and lipgloss?

However you get ready there is one thing that should shine... your teeth! Because regardless of anything, Valentine's day should make you smile. If he gives you a lovely gift, you are going to have to smile and plant one right on his lips.

So what do you do after dinner, laughing like you were first in love and making sure the kids are finally asleep?

....Dessert.

Yes.. that is what we are calling it today... Dessert.

Now what if you could have a Dessert that was wonderful for both of you? Exciting, fun and Oh.. so.. tantalizing?

That is what *I* am here for!

Rembrandt has sent me a wonderful package for one of my readers! A tube of "Intense Stain" Rembrandt whitening mint toothpaste and a Rembrandt Whitening strips for one of my readers.
Rembrandt Whitening Strips are used once daily for 30 minutes, in just five days there will be a visible difference. Strips conform to the unique shape of teeth and stay in place! (SRP: $24.99/ 7 days)

Rembrandt Intense Stain toothpaste contains powerful stain fighting ingredients to effectively remove deep stains from coffee and wine (SRP: $7.99/3 oz)

But.. that is not all...

They have also given me:

K-Y Brand Yours+Mine "intimacy enhancement" product. I LOVE that term.. that's a politically correct way of saying... It is fun in bed for BOTH! Modern and sleek test tube vials house the lubricants: Electric blue for him, vibrant purple for her, easy open caps and make sure you put them in the sun, the vials glow in the dark, so they are easy to find at night! Pretty cool huh?So.. without further ado... let's get down to the nitty gritty!

To enter:

To enter, leave a comment and tell me what your favorite thing about Valentines Day is. (Chocolate, sleeping in, breakfast in bed, etc.)

Extra entries (Please put these in separate posts if you do them)

*Subscribe to my blog through RSS reader.
*What is your favorite beauty tip for special occasions?
*Donate to my team with the Making Strides for Breast Cancer walk (5 entries)

This giveaway will end February 12, 2009 at 5pm MST. I am going to let Dave pick the winner! (I might even have a little something for a second winner. Good luck!!)

My favorite thing about Valentine's day ...

I don't know really how to quite say it - it's the perfect set up to really make someone feel special, wanted, and loved.

Most people spend their time closed off to to these things - whether intentionally or at a sub-concious level. But not so for Feb 14th!

Well, Suz, my favorite beauty tip for Valentine's day is- Depending on the ambience, plan your hairstyle. Curls are flattering and elegant and free tresses never go out of fashion. If you are going to a breezy place, make sure to have something to tie your hair with or secure them in a nice style before you move out instead of making a spectacle of yourself.

Totally came right off the top of my head

*cough*

My favourite thing about valentine's has got to be making valentine's crafts with my son. Who knew red heart sprinkles and sparkles could be so much fun!

My favorite thing:

I just love having a day dedicated to telling those you love, that you love them! I love giving my boys little boxes of candy and I love sneaking cards in my hubby's lunch box. It's just a fun day to say "I love you!"

Beauty tip:

RELAX! When I get ready for a night out, I always start with a bath and candles. I relax myself. I always feel like I look best when I am calm and relaxed. I then just take my time and really pamper myself. I paint my nails and really take my time with hair and make-up. If I feel good, then I know I can make my hubby feel good, too (ok, that sounds bad, but you know what I mean)!

My favorite thing about Valentine's day is Zack and I actually have a candle lit dinner after the kids go to bed. It's sad it's only once a year...But we order out (usually Chili's) Zack goes out and gets it while I set up the table with the candles. Dessert is usually something heart shaped...Brownie and ice cream with caramel syrup was last years.

My favorite thing about Valentine's Day is fresh flowers. My hubby has always gotten me a fresh boquet and it's such a joy in the middle of what is usually cold and dreary weather.

My beauty tip for special occasions is to wear something you know is comfortable. If new shoes are hurting or something is too tight or too short, it's hard to look good. I've noticed the girls on The Batchelor this season pulling up their strapless dresses all the time. They certainly don't look pretty doing that.

I like valentine's for the chocolate. I can feel less guilty about eating it on that day.

My fav beauty tip: Always use a lip liner, it stops lipstick or lipgloss from feather and will give you an always kissable pout.

Valentine's Day is a perfect day for sharing time with your significant other - just because you can!

I get all excited about finding something small that will make my loved ones happy (like a little cheap box of chocolates for the kids or a pencil with hearts on it). I remember when I was about 8 my dad put one of those heart shaped box of chocolates with Loony Toons on it (or something, it only had like 5 pieces of candy in it) on my pillow and I saw it when I got home from school. I was sooo so pleased and felt very special.
This year we are going to a Valentine's ball thrown by some friends! :)

My favorite thing about Valentine's Day is that everyone mindfully tries to be kind and loving. (Every day should be like this, right?) This Valentine's Day I will be celebrating with my husband of (almost) 32 years. Our 32nd wedding anniversary is near the end of February.

My favorite beauty tip for a big night out is not to do anything out of your ordinary skincare routine. It's no time to try a new mask or whatever that could cause your skin to react badly! Do a trial ahead of time.

Alexis AKA MOM said...

I so agree with the chocolate fondue, but since the kids we really haven't gone out. I would love just a nice card and my hubby to make dinner and not hot dogs ... LOL Well one can dream :). I can't wait to the teen years when I can actually have a date again with hubby!

Alexis AKA MOM said...

Pre kids it was shower, trim up everything nice, nice undies and matching bra and perfume. Now he's lucky if the undies and bra are close in color ... LOL

My favorite thing is when my hubby comes home bearing gifts for our daughters. He started this when our first was a baby and he brought home a teddy bear twice her size. Our oldest is now 4 and still talks about the stuffed dog she got last Valentine's.

My favorite beauty tip would be to have the proper undergarments. Nothing ruins a snazzy outfit like panty lines, bunchy slips, or visible bra straps.
